A Look at Lucas
Lucas Laguer, originally from Staten Island, New York, is an Orlando based actor currently represented by the 22 Talent Company. He has appeared in many theatre productions including the University of Central Florida, the Dr. Phillips Center, and has toured to several elementary schools and youth centers in educational productions for young audiences. You may have seen him in the University of Central Florida’s productions of Fabulation or the Re-education of Undine, Welcome to the Moon and other One-acts, The Grumpiest Boy in the World, and Kill Move Paradise, to name just a few. Lucas is currently a student at the University of Central Florida in his junior year (graduating in the spring of 2023), working towards a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in acting, and a minor in mass media. In addition to acting, Lucas enjoys costume design and special effects makeup, winning state superior and critic’s choice for his costume designs for William Shakespeare’s Othello, at the Florida State Thespian Festival in 2019. Lucas also makes a point to give back to his community, volunteering for 2 years at his local arts center. In his spare time, he enjoys drawing both on paper and digitally, all things Star Wars and Marvel, archery, playing video and role-playing games with friends, and spending time with his family. Lucas also enjoys participating in student-directed plays, having performed in an abridged version of The Crucible, and other student-written productions as well.
